The Space Between | Saturday 29th August
A Half-Day Nature, Cacao & Yoga Retreat
Join us at the beautiful SoEarth Projects in Kill, Co. Kildare for a special half-day retreat created to honour one of the most overlooked moments of the year - the quiet space between the carefree days of summer and the return to everyday routines.
As August draws to a close, there is a brief window where the long days still linger, the evenings remain warm and nature is full and abundant. Before school bags are packed, calendars fill and life finds its familiar rhythm again, we invite you to press pause.
Whether you've spent the summer caring for children, supporting others, travelling, working or simply keeping life moving, this is an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life and spend a few hours replenishing yourself.
Throughout the morning or afternoon, you'll move gently between the beautiful outdoor spaces and cosy indoor studio at SoEarth Projects. We'll begin with a mindful walk through the surrounding woodland and gardens, allowing the body to slow, the mind to settle and the senses to reconnect with nature.
We'll then gather indoors for ceremonial cacao, inviting us to arrive fully in the present moment before flowing into a slow, breath-led yoga practice suitable for every body. Through mindful movement, conscious breathing and moments of stillness, we'll create space to release tension, calm the nervous system and reconnect with ourselves.
The experience will finish with a deeply restorative guided meditation and a gentle closing reflection, leaving you feeling rested, grounded and ready to move into the next season of life with greater calm and clarity.

The Benefits
As summer gently draws to a close, many of us move from weeks of spontaneity and busyness into the structure of everyday life. Taking intentional time to slow down before that transition can help create a greater sense of balance, clarity and resilience.
Combining time in nature with gentle movement, breathwork, meditation and mindful rest supports both physical and emotional wellbeing, creating space to recharge before a new season of routines begins.
Science-Based Benefits
Research shows that gentle yoga, breathwork and meditation can:
• Reduce stress hormones such as cortisol
• Support nervous system regulation
• Improve sleep quality
• Reduce anxiety and overwhelm
• Increase mobility and circulation
• Improve focus, mood and emotional wellbeing
Time spent in nature has also been shown to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve attention and support overall mental health. Even a short period outdoors can help restore mental energy and create a greater sense of calm.
